Cyn Collins is the Host/DJ of KFAI Spin with Cyn, now in its 9th year. She’ll be spinning an eclectic mix of punk, post-punk, garage, psychedelic, indie rock, roots, funk and more. Expect lots of local, and underground, rare gems. She’s DJ’ed events such as Walker After Hours exhibit openings, KFAI Vinyl Voices collective, Nick & Eddie, Third Bird, gallery openings and more. She’s the author of Complicated Fun: the Birth of Minneapolis Punk and Indie Rock, 1974 – 1984 and West Bank Boogie books. She was an exhibit researcher on the MN History Center’s First Avenue exhibit.
